Which fabric should I choose for a backdrop? +

For a backdrop, start with Ultra Sheer or Polyester Taffeta. Ultra Sheer is a light, see through fabric that suits layered or airy backdrops. Polyester Taffeta is a smooth polyester fabric that suits solid, full colour graphics. Airmesh suits hanging banners where air needs to pass through, such as outdoor or windy spaces. What is the difference between the four fabrics? +

Each fabric has a different look and use. Airmesh is a mesh fabric for banners. Ultra Sheer is a light, translucent fabric for sheer backdrops. Fluorescent Knitted Polyester is a knitted fabric with a bright finish for high visibility graphics. Polyester Taffeta is a smooth woven polyester for sharp, full colour prints. Choose by where you will hang it and how much light and air it needs to handle.

Is polyester a good choice for printed fabric? +

Yes. Polyester takes dye sublimation printing well, so the colour is part of the fabric and not a layer on top. Polyester is also light, easy to pack and suited to repeated use at events. Cotton is a different material and is not part of this range. If you need a printed fabric for displays and backdrops that you will reuse, polyester is the practical choice.

How do I prepare my artwork for printing? +

Send your artwork as a high resolution file at the size you plan to print. Use the colours and layout you want to see on the final fabric. Keep key text and logos away from the edges, since edges are often hemmed or hung. Our design team can check your file before printing and flag any problems. Can I reuse the printed fabric for other events? +

Yes. Polyester fabric is made for repeated use. You can take it down after an event, fold it and store it for the next one.
