What does SEG mean, and how does it compare to other backdrop options? +

SEG means silicone edge graphic. The fabric has a silicone strip sewn around the edge, and it is pressed into a groove in the frame. This gives a tight, clean finish with no visible fixings. Compared with pop up or hanging options, a wall-mounted SEG display looks more like a fixed wall. You can swap the graphic without replacing the frame.

What depth should I choose for a wall-mounted SEG display? +

Choose the depth based on how much space you have and how solid you want the wall to look. The Non-Backlit Wall-Mounted SEG Fabric display comes in 20mm, 40mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm and 120mm depths. A smaller depth sits closer to the wall. A larger depth gives a deeper frame. Talk to our design team if you are unsure which fits your stand.

What is the difference between the backlit and non-backlit options? +

The Wall-Mounted SEG Light Box is built to be lit from within. The Non-Backlit Wall-Mounted SEG Fabric displays are not lit and rely on the light in the hall. Choose the light box when you want the graphic to stand out in a busy hall. Choose a non-backlit display when you want a simple fabric wall in a range of depths.

Can I reuse the display at more than one event? +

Yes. The frame stays the same and you only change the fabric graphic. This lets you update your message, campaign or event theme without buying a new structure. Fabric graphics can be removed from the frame and stored for later use. If you plan to use the display at many events, ask us about the best fabric and printing option.

How are the fabric graphics printed? +

Graphics are printed on fabric using dye sublimation, which puts the ink into the fabric for sharp, even colour. Duplex and block out fabric printing are also available. Duplex prints on both sides. Block out fabric stops light passing through. Our design team can advise which option suits your wall and your stand lighting.

How do I set up and transport a wall-mounted SEG display? +

You fit the frame to the wall or stand, then press the silicone edge of the fabric into the frame groove. The fabric is lightweight and can be removed from the frame for transport.
