What are illuminated backlit displays? +

They are fabric displays with LED lights built in, so the printed graphic is lit from behind. This range covers three types: photo booth enclosures, tension fabric media walls and hanging banners. The Slim Fabric LED Backlit Exhibition Wall and the Backlit Rectangle Hanging Banner are two examples. They suit trade shows, brand events and activations where you want your graphics to stand out.

How do illuminated fabric walls work? +

LED lights sit behind or inside a frame, and a printed tension fabric graphic is stretched over it. The light passes through the fabric and makes the colours and logo glow. The 3D Tension Fabric Wall with LED Illumination and the Slim Fabric LED Backlit Exhibition Wall both work this way. Check each product page for the frame and lighting details.

What is the difference between backlit and front-lit displays? +

A backlit display shines light through the fabric from behind. A front-lit display lights the graphic from the front, usually with spotlights or arms. Backlit graphics look evenly lit and glow from within. This collection is backlit only. If you want a fabric display without lighting, see our non backlit SEG fabric displays.

Which backlit display should I choose? +

Choose by use. For a branded wall behind a stand, pick a tension fabric wall such as the Slim Fabric LED Backlit Exhibition Wall. For overhead branding, pick the Backlit Cubic Hanging Banner or the Backlit Rectangle Hanging Banner. For guest experiences, pick a photo booth enclosure. Can I use the same display for more than one event? +

Yes. These displays use fabric graphics on a frame, so you can take them down and set them up again at the next event. Fabric graphics can be replaced with a new print when your campaign changes, so you do not need to buy the whole display again. Check the product page for the exact parts and setup steps.

How are the graphics printed? +

Graphics are printed on fabric. Backdropsource uses dye sublimation printing, which puts the colour into the fabric. We also offer duplex and block out fabric printing. Our design team can help you choose the right fabric for a backlit display. Send your artwork and we will check it for you before printing.
